Much love.

I’ve been noticing how the world still seems to be ignoring the (still growing) death toll of AIDS.

Seeing people in the US, New York city no less, saying there’s never been anything else to compare to the current health crisis, nothing else that has put hospitals under so much over flowing pressure.

People more than old enough to have been there during the 80s and 90s.

Not only in the US, here too.

I keep thinking about the novel β€˜The City & The City' by China Mieville.

I keep thinking about all those people lost yet still not properly, openly acknowledged.

I keep thinking about all those left behind. Still loving. StillΒ remembering. Still grieving.

I keep finding wet tracks on my cheeks tooβ€Šβ€”β€Šand I was nowhere near as immersed in front line care, loss and activism as you James.

Sending a virtual hand and a virtual hug, should you want them.
