An absolutely accurate conclusion, the Old Boys Network has somehow descended into an 'Eton Mess', with elitist privilege bursting from their haystack heads in blind abundance.

I didn't ever approve of the colonialist 'Masters of the Universe' stance when our lot were pulling it, but at least they were acting like men, not snot nosed prep school teenagers who run to daddy if they don't get their own way! And in this day and age, 'daddy' is, as you also say, somehow the USA.

How did that happen? I mean, we (the British) played a large part in the murderous takeover and 'founding' of your nation - even if we were eventually ousted in favour of America doing it's own thing. At that point in history we were the 'father' (or at least creepy uncle you don't want to be around) and America was the rebellious teen wanting to do their own thing.

How did the turn about happen? As with men in many generalised terms, it's all about size isn't it. America is simply bigger - and we taught you 'well' after all, so if you want you just go a head and take and you're (this is a general US 'you') still so damn sure of that white male superiority we taught you that you simply know you are the best, the most important and always right.

America grew up a spoiled brat, with too much money and privilege, who is now (sort of, somewhat resentfully) having to look after it's parent who is being to age into a second childhood. It's uncomfortable to admit, but I think it's all true from where I stand.

As for the whole war with whoever and everyone... It's a disgrace. It's always been a disgrace. It sickens me.
