Let’s just get right to the elephant in this particular room shall we?

I use a pen name/pseudonym to write here on Medium.

My profile picture is of one of my cats.

How can I write about honesty and openness?

Well, I conceal my identity for EXACTLY that purpose — to better be able to Speak My Truth, as they say. To be able to tell my stories and express my feelings, without my writing being hobbled by my crushing sense of shame and anxiety.

I’m not using multiple ‘identities’. This is Me. Warts and all.

Everything I write about from a perspective of personal experience, is a true account. I am not pretending to be someone or something I am not.

Everything I write below is real.

I’m writing the truth from behind a mask. Hopefully, that will feel acceptable to you Readers.
