'Biblical illiteracy' is a massive problem in those whose favourite pastime is to judge others (it seems) - & it winds me up a treat.
I haven't been anywhere near a bible in decades, but I still seem to know what it actually says better than so many of those who wave and thump said book in other people's faces on a daily basis.
These 'everyday sayings' are the gentle gradient beginning of a very large mountain (and not a molehill in sight).
Pointing out that things like this don't actually originate in the bible, as many assume, might even prod a few brain cells into thinking about the rest.
Not holding my breath though.
Still, nice one Paul.
