I’ve tried to live a city life,

With the hustle, the bustle,

The bars and pubs -

Easy access to libraries and books,

Museums, art galleries,

Cafes and clubs.

I met some new friends,

But those people all said

You are so lucky

To come from The Green

So we have to ask

What you doing here Queen?

The hills did call to me,

I had to return,

Because deep at heart,

I’m just a Country Girl.
