Excellent piece Carlos, absolutely spot on. It's the same here, I'm afraid to say. I know that such a thing as organised breast milk exchanges do exist, but it's almost as though they operate in the shadows, known only to "dirty hippy " like us - hidden from the shame and disapproval the 'ordinary ', 'acceptable ' members of society will pour upon us when they find out about this unnatural practice (I mean seriously, wetnursing probably predated the invention of the wheel, what is the problem exactly!?). Blood banks store bags of blood to dole out if it's needed, why not have breast milk banks? Because they wouldn't make millions a year for the manufacturers of formula I suppose.
