Re the whole issue of whether or not consent can be silent, or indeed silence can be considered consent (or indeed whether they are the same thing)....you'd be right, the whole lack of legal clarity is frustrating as hell.

Also, did you see in the Trump/ E. Jean Carroll case how his lawyer tore into her about not screaming as he raped her?
