I found your discussion of purpose very interesting. I'm not a gamer, but I did experience a long car journey with my child (now adult, but at the time about 14) who spent the journey explaining in great detail the plot, characters and themes of the 'Snake' video game series. At the time, while driving, the complexity gave me a bit of a headache, but I was impressed by the ethical depth involved.
