I too believe spiders are our friends, but then I live in the UK where it is extremely rare a spider could do us actual (aka real) harm. I wouldn't be so keen to share my space with those monsters found in places like Aus as you mention.

As for the photos, those webs are divine. With the dew, they look somewhere between extremely fine chain link and lace. Beautiful either way.

I was actually feeling rather disappointed at the lack of spider cameos (after all the build up for arachnophobes) - despite my being edified, delighted and amused by what was included - until I got to the end... So thanks for the inclusion of those from the "earlier spider hunt". What a stunner!

And the photography editing tips are great too of course. Not a photographer myself, but I am always a fan of your writing Chuck!
