I believe in body autonomy. In allowing any person the right to decide what happens to their own body. The momement that infringes upon another person is the moment that right becomes void- but, that other person has to be OUTSIDE of the first person's body, capable of inhabiting their own space.
If a fetus, inside the womb, is incapable of maintaining viability (ie. Living) outside of that womb, then to me we must still consider it PART OF that person who is carrying it.
So I'm Pro a lot of things. Mainly Autonomy though.
I'm also one of those oddballs who thinks a toddler should be able to choose whether or not to kiss/hug/sit on the lap of grandparents, aunts&uncles and the like.
Get them used to saying no and being taken seriously when they're young. Get them used to taking each other seriously. Make adults understand they don't just get to do what they like to another person's body, whatever the age.
Autonomy and consent are everything. With those being taken as the rule, we might even be less in need of abortions for victims of rape, of incest.
I'm on my soapbox preaching to the choir now of course.
