I don't know, maybe my mind just inhabits some very similar territory to yours, but when I read your poems I get a real feeling of glee and connection. Then I listen to the recording of you reading this one - I loved that the little ditty in the centre was a song and the rest I'd just read out myself and it felt the same. I genuinely gave a little squeal of delight as it came to an end. I may run this pub and throw out some odd verse myself, but I don't often get excited about poetry (in fact I would consider myself difficult to please, if we're talking about personal taste, rather than impersonal commentary on good technique/nice wording or whatever).
