I get that. I've been the same, worked all manner of low-paying and/or part-time jobs to pay the bills, but the only one I've ever really given my all to is being my partner's carer/caregiver these last few years. I've always put spending as much time as possible on my writing/reading and partner/child/animals as my priority.
