I needn't start in with my Skarsgard obsession again, you've heard quite enough about that, but thanks Reece it was great revisiting this film. I meant to review it myself but never got it finished! I really want to watch this again now.

The input from Sjon and his frequent collab partner Bjork no doubt made a massive difference to the general feel of 'The Northman'. Fab piece of cinema - and I'd definitely recommend Sjon's books to anyone. Try 'The Blue Fox', short, description heavy and fantastically atmospheric.
