I wasn't trying to make your story/the Native American story/my comment about us. I'm really sorry if it came across that way. I was genuinely intending to mean more or less what you've said here, that the history of colonisation and subjugation, 'civilization' via steeling children and stealing cultures, is tragic and shameful.
