I'd really like to read this one.

This New Dark is another multi-POV novel, focusing on just a few days in the lives of four or so main characters in eastern Oklahoma (think more Ozarks than Amarillo): a native American man with a clandestine weed-growing operation and an obsession with a maybe-real cougar, a pious bailiff with an ailing mother and an unexpected job opportunity, a young man coming to grips with his sexuality and missing mom, and a mysterious interloper of terrible ability and nefarious intent.
