I'm an old style, trade union supporting, socialist working class Labourite. I'm a member of the Party, because up until the last election my northern working-class area had been staunchly red for the past eighty something years. That all changed when our constituents voted a Tory in and my Party voted Corbyn out. Starmer is worse than Blair, Tory-light for sure. Corbyn represented the social stance Labour was originally created to represent. Keir Starmer may be named after Keir Hardie, but is a far cry from his namesake in metal and ideals.
