I'm genuinely laughing reading this.
I was helping a friend host a birthday party for her son at their home (many years ago now) and having observed a young guest for a minute, said friend turned to me and said she now understood what my style of dressing reminded her of - that of a ten year old girl....
To be fair, on that day I was wearing denimn dungarees, a bright purple vest top, Dr. M boots & a bright bandana over my hair - which was a fairly standard idea of my 'look' ☺️
