It's truly difficult to know what to do for the best, you covered this subject really well Gayathri.

I used to be strict vegetarian for around a decade, and it just didn't help with my health at all, even supplementing with a raft of vitamins etc every day.

These days I eat chicken and fish, and really just try to listen to what my body feels it needs.

Before I hit menopause, I had a lot of issues with my menstrual cycle, and occasionally really felt the urge for something like a good hearty beef stew. And Guinness, lol. Feed the blood, as our old aunty (who was a community midwife) used to say.

Such a minefield though, much as I try to be ethical, and 'tred lightly' generally speaking.
