My 'kid' is the same age as you and happily at home. As is @Reece. As the parent in the equation, we're happy to have our 22 home, we're family and we'll get through life together. Plus it's an extra pair of hands around the house and with caring for our disabled partner/father, for now, always their life and their choice comes first. As you said, being at home with parents makes it more possible to follow what you want to do, rather than getting stuck doing anything just to make rent, and we're right behind that even though we certainly wish the situation was less dire.
