My partners aunt adopted a greyhound that had been raced, from a rescue organisation. Lovely dog like yours, so grateful for any little love and affection he received. All animal 'sport' should be banned, in my opinion, not only fox hunting etc., but dog and horse racing too.

I don't know how anyone can look into an animal's eyes and not see soul and personality staring back at them, just as one can with humans.
