Of course, sorry, I didn't think I'd done a very good job of that!
So, if a white person sees, accepts and acknowledges the harm their people has done in the world, campaigns against the tendency to continue on with the same old harmful ways....
If I as that person wouldn't dream of stealing/misappropriating spiritual practices by attempting to recreate the First Nations Ojibwe ceremony of friends and family (for example)....
If I'm truly interested in natural Lore and wisdom, realising that this cannot really be separated from spiritual beliefs, is it ok to ask/talk/learn about native beliefs (with the aim of simply 'knowing better' than white culture preaches as the Right Way)?
Ah hell, I don't know if this makes any better sense! I can take another run at it if you need me to.
