Oooh, no not really. Maybe some British people are cheeky and fine with nudity, but there’s an awful lot of traditionally prudish stiff-upper-lip types over here still as well.

Besides, a person wearing a thong is not nude. There seems to be a growing trend for that description being used when referring to someone who is wearing underwear.

I don’t really think that Ms. Watson objects to a bit of skin on show though, thinking of some outfits I’ve seen her wear herself. In fact I remember arguing with someone who said that, as a feminist and role model, Emma should be setting a better example with her clothing choices. Personally I was of the opinion that she did some utterly impressive things that were far more important than a revealing dress worn at an awards ceremony — and also that she could wear whatever she damn well liked!!

There’s such a thing as dressing and acting appropriately for the situation though isn’t there. There’s also the fact that Emma can choose for herself whether to stand snd watch or walk away and it’s really nobody’s business but hers.
