"the word of God" - which is only what we know has been presented to us all by humans who assert that this is what 'He' has told them. Words which have then been interpreted, expanded and consequently twisted to make people who are merely going about their own lives as best and authentically as they can, feel miserable with guilt and moral pain, victimised by those who are supposedly 'doing good'.
I'm afraid I must take issue with a couple of notions you express here:
1. Your God is not "opinionated", you are.
2. You don't wish her well, otherwise you would have done the decent thing and refrained from coming here, denying Stephanie her faith, her knowledge of herself and the fact that her womanhood is really not a "choice". Think of all the pain transgender people go through in an effort to live their own truth - nobody chooses to put themselves through that.
You should perhaps take a leaf out of Stephanie's book and spend more time in self critical reflection and less time trying to make others feel 'Less Than' yourself?
