This is a lovely story which truly touched my heart. Thank you for sharing it with us. I remember my father had an old Box Brownie, I was fascinated with it - even as a child in the 70s this was an amazing piece of the past that held an almost magical appeal. As for books and pens, they remain my obsessions to this day.
