Yet Mark Rowley has been given the remit to clean up the Metropolitan Police force by ridding it of rapists and racists yet firing a gun whilst wearing a uniform has no remit for his criticism. There are currently 1,000 police officers on restricted duties because there are allegations pending against them. Does he not think if there are so many rogue officers in the force then there will certainly be a few who are certified to carry a gun? Of course, there are.
