When I see your name on a new piece, I always want to read it right away. I think it’s those moments of feeling understood, because another person is writing about having similar experiences, similar feelings, that is the most important thing to me when I’m reading and writing on a site like this. Yes it would be nice to make a little money. Yes it would be great if my writing was complimented. Those little moments of recognition though? They’re golden.
