Yep. My many and varied scars and injuries do include a few from this kind of incident. Fortunately, most of my cycling related disasters only led to nasty cases of gravel rash, but I gave up my bike at 16 when another bloody incident made me begin to realise my dancing days might be numbered if I kept both up.
