Yes, we do seem to have a lot in common. I have C-PTSD, panic disorder, generalised anxiety and clinical depression on top of endometriosis, fibromyalgia, costochondritis, asthma, hernia and something as yet undefined wrong with my joints (caused/made worse by being hypermobile), but which is apparently not rheumatoid - and I freeze and dissociate, have a history of sexual trauma. How is being frozen, dissociated and uncommunacative/mute with fear so often then taken advantage of by highly entitled, predators? Our vulnerability is a gift to them, something they are drawn to. Of course other men are a gift and hold our trauma ravaged selves gently and respectfully, as you describe of those men on your course. Also, other women need to look out for situations where they might be thanked for checking in or intervening. I did that a lot when I was younger and able to be out and about, and when doing bar work years back too.
