You write some excellent articles, I’ve been enjoying your work for a number of years now. However, as we all do, I see that you still fall into the trap of convenient well worn phrasing without recognising it’s positioning of male before female, even in the conclusion of a piece about rape. Recognising that men and boys are also victims of rape and sexual abuse/assault (which they most certainly are), as this piece does spotlight a thought experiment about women and girls the reader knows…..this is a friendly observation here from an admirer of your work.
